Dana Bissontz, MS, BSN, RN, CLCP

Dana Bissontz is a highly experienced Registered Nurse and Certified Life Care Planner with over 28 years in healthcare. Her diverse background spans long-term care, emergency room nursing, cardiac and surgical cardiac nursing, correctional nursing, and home care. She also has extensive experience in workers’ compensation, medical case management, and medical-legal consulting. She supports Jennifer Hammers Pathology in both the medical-legal division and autopsy transcription. 

Dana is the Owner and President of Camdan Consulting, LLC, where she provides medical-legal consulting and litigation support, specializing in forensic case summarization, and legal nurse consulting. Additionally, she has deposition and court testimony experience for both the plaintiff and defense. Previously, she worked with National Care Advisors and E.L.K Independent Medical Expert Network, overseeing nursing services and medical case analysis. Her background also includes roles in workers’ compensation case management and life care planning with Presque Isle Rehabilitation Services and PA Compass Rehabilitation Services. 

Dana holds a Master of Science in Fraud and Forensics from Carlow University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LaRoche College, and a Certificate in Forensic Science from Duquesne University’s Cyril H. Wecht Institute. She earned her nursing diploma from Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing. Passionate about medical-legal consulting, she continues to refine her expertise in detailed medical record review, analysis, and expert testimony. 

In her personal time, Dana is involved with 412 Thrive Survivors Group and enjoys yoga and living a healthy lifestyle.
