Emily Clifford is an experienced administrator and project manager with a strong background in forensic and health sciences. Currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at the University of Pittsburgh in emergency medicine, Emily oversees critical projects that enhance patient care. In addition, she serves as the Administrator for Jennifer Hammers Pathology, assisting with the operational and administrative functions that support this incredible forensic pathology team.

A Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), she brings structured leadership and organizational expertise to her roles, ensuring efficiency and compliance in complex healthcare environments. With a strong commitment to education and continuous learning, she has pursued professional growth across multiple healthcare disciplines. Holding degrees in forensic science and health science, Emily has also gained hands-on experience through an internship and autopsy technician training at Cyril H. Wecht Pathology and Associates Inc. Prior to her current roles, she spent eight years in mental health as an administrator and intake coordinator, further deepening her understanding of patient care and healthcare systems. Emily’s diverse experience underscores a dedication to all facets of healthcare, clinical medicine, forensic science, and mental health, recognizing their interconnected roles in patient outcomes and public health.

Outside of work, Emily is dedicated to personal wellness and an active lifestyle. A long-distance runner and weight lifter, she also takes to the bike trails when the weather allows. She balances her professional and personal pursuits while raising two children alongside their ever-curious cat, Gatsby. Committed to both professional excellence and personal well-being, Emily continuously seeks opportunities to grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact in her field.
