Jackie Karwoski, RN, BSN, LNCC

With 27 years of experience in the healthcare field, Jackie began her career as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Magee-Womens Hospital after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a certified Legal Nurse Consultant, blending her clinical expertise with a deep understanding of legal processes, and has been working in that capacity for 15 years. Jackie has worked closely with Dr. Hammers since 2017 and now performs a variety of duties in her role at JHP including managing the medicolegal consultation division as well as the transcription team, and performing quality assurance (QA) checks on autopsy reports to ensure the highest level of accuracy and thoroughness. 

Jackie is the proud mother of two children - a son who is a music teacher and a daughter who is pursuing a degree in music education with a theater minor. She is deeply involved in supporting their musical endeavors and volunteers with the high school drama department as ticket coordinator, reflecting her passion for the arts and her commitment to her family’s creative growth.
